Anyone know how to send a fruit basket to a cruise ship?

Friends will be leaving tomorrow and I thought it would be nice if there was a fruit basket or wine waiting for them in their stateroom.

Anyone know how to send a fruit basket to a cruise ship?
It depends on which cruise line they are traveling on. Usually you can order through the cruise line%26#039;s toll free customer service number. Unfortunately, most cruise lines will not accept orders if it is less than a week prior to the sailing date.

What cruise line are they sailing on?
Reply:You can email or call the cruise line. they usually have baskets and flowers you can send their guests, but hurry you have to do it before they ship.
Reply:You are too late since they are leaving %26quot;tomorrow%26quot;. But had you asked a few weeks before the cruise I could have given you web links to get in touch with their cruise line and make the order by phone and pay for it by credit card. For future reference, and notwithstanding what others have said about all of the food on ship, which is true, its nice to have a fruit basket in the room and you can also order things like chocolate covered strawberries, wine, and canipes for the cabin. Most cruise ships now have a refrigerator in the cabin so they can keep the fruit cool for days. You can also order wine or champaign for delivery to their table.
Reply:Fruit baskets don%26#039;t make a lot of sense because the ship is loaded with food. However, you can send a lot of different gifts through the cruiselines. Unfortunately, they%26#039;re somewhat expensive. There is a company down in Miami called %26quot;Just Because of You%26quot; that does beverage gifts etc. I don%26#039;t have their number handy but you can do a search on cruisecritic.com.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t bother. A cruise ship is jammed packed full of food. On the last cruise I was on, we got there early, and spent some time watching the crew load food. It came in on fork lifts - pallets and pallets and pallets of it. Same story with the booze. The food is all free, and if they%26#039;re going to the caribbean, booze is usually cheaper than in the states, because they don%26#039;t have to pay import duties. I%26#039;d say you%26#039;d be better off giving them something else, but if they leave tomorrow, it%26#039;s probably too late to get it for them.
Reply:wow I should imagine the STATE room will already have flowers, Got money have they%26lt; ask me you a bit of a fruit cake yuself, eh what,
Reply:you can check with the cruise line they%26#039;re going. they have this lists of things that you can order for your friends and you can even request them to attach a personal message from you.
Reply:Check the cruise line%26#039;s website. Many of them offer little gifts such as a fruit basket or bottle of wine that you can have waiting in their cabin. What a nice gesture!
